Safety handwheels

Safety handwheels are freely rotatable on the shaft in home position. To transfer manual rotation to drive and adjust, they first need to be engaged in order to transmit torque. This protects from unintentional actuation or decoupled shafts that are temporarily also driven manually.

These aluminium handhweels come in disc or spoked varieties, with the option of friction or needle bearing.
