SMEG Mechanical Cam Unit, up to 30,000 daN

This model, SMEG, is a top of the range mechanical cam unit incorporating a unique and innovative solution for shaped punches. The system fits an ISO8020 standard direct integrated punch, easily available on the market, that can be shaped to match with required geometries and with power up to 30000 daN. Easily unassembled for maintenance.

This innovative system increases application possibilities and exponentially increases life duration. The system is fitted with a miniature electronic device to control the correct positioning of the equipment. The bronze stripper is removable and can be profiled to suit the component, with a stroke of 8 mm. It is also possible to attach a small plate above the die. This enables the cam to be disassembled without removing the blank holder.

Special applications are possible, for example the fitting of multiple punches in the same unit. Can be fitted horizontally or at an angle. For special applications or inclined fitting, please consult our technical department.
