GN719.1 Plastic Press On Gear Domed Gear Knob
Domed knobs/handles are a commonplace component used for many applications and have a classic design which has stood the test of time. They are designed to fit snugly into the palm of the hand for comfortable usage.
The DIN 719.1 domed knob is often used instead of the DIN 319 ball knob on switch levers, and gear levers due to ergonomical reasons. These knobs are mounted by using a plastic hammer to drive them over a shaft end which should preferably be slightly rounded or phased (30°). The bushing is embedded during the manufacturing process, and it does not need insertion before driving it over a shaft.
The gear knob has a shiny black Plastic finish with embedded Plastic bushing.
