Product Description
GN712 Cam Action Indexing Plungers, Plunger Protruded
These cam action indexing plungers, GN 712 are used in applications where the plunger needs to be able to be retracted, and not left protruding.
The plunger pin can be moved out and retracted by turning the latch anticlockwise by 90° or 120° over a guide cam. When turning the cam by 90° or 120° in anti-clockwise direction, the plunger is moved through a curved opening in the body. After that, the plunger is retracted.
Depending on the type, the plunger is moved back by a spring in its original position (type A), is held in retracted position (type R), or is secured against accidental operation (type S).
In order to move the plunger, safety version Type S requires an additional lifting of the bolt.
