GN707.2 Split Set Collar, Stainless Steel, Two Piece
These set collars, GN 707.2 are formed of two peices and are ideal when the collar cannot be slipped over a shaft, for example if other components are already in place.They correspond in measurement to the semi-split set collars GN706.2.
They can be easily and safely assembled, and have a high clamping force without damaging the surface of the shaft. They can be fully adjusted and repostioned on the shaft. They not only serve as an end stop, and hold bearings and sprockets on shafts, they can also be used for fixing or triggering other components such as end limit switches. A versatile component, they can also be used for location purposes.
Being made of stainless steel, they are ideal for use in clean room environments, such as found in the food, medical and pharmaceutical industries, and their associated processing and packaging.
For size d1 = 20 to 36 d3 is a through hole; starting from d1 = 42 d3 is a threaded blind bore.
