GN 706.4 Semi Split Set Collar, with Adjustable Hand Lever, Steel or Aluminium
These semi-split set collars or shaft collars GN 706.4, can be easily and safely clamped and have a high clamping force without damaging the surface of the shaft. They can be fully adjusted and repositioned on the shaft and are ideal for applications which need frequent repositioning. They not only serve as an end stop, and hold bearings and sprockets on shafts, they can also be used for fixing or triggering other components such as end limit switches. A versatile component, they can also be used for locating purposes. They are tightened with an adjustable hand lever, for ease of use.
For size d1 = 30 and 36 d3 is a through hole; starting from d1 = 42 d3 is a threaded blind bore.
