Product Description

GN650.3 Oil Level Indicator, Column, With Electric Monitoring.

These oil level indicators, GN 650.3, are clear and easy to read, as a white lacquered aluminium strip is used as a contrast screen. This shows marking lines or temperature scale. The scale is placed behind and outside the liquid column as a protective measure and to prevent any yellowing. It can be removed before installation to add markings (for example MAX-MIN) as necessary. The shape of the oil level indicators offers a magnifying effect which also makes the scale easily legible. The liquid level is visible even from side positions.

The liquid level cannot only be seen but an electrical impulse can also be transmitted when the oil level has dropped below a specified limit. For this purpose there is a magnetic float in the indicator which at a specified liquid level (liquid min. level) will close or open a contact in a REED switch.

The polyamide body consists of two parts which are ultrasonically welded together which guarantees a perfect seal.

These oil level indicators can also be used in pressurised containers. Pressure test results regarding resistance under pressure are available on request.

Specification

Body - Plastic, crystal-clear Polyamide (PA-T), ageing resistant, high mechanical strength. Temperature restistant up to 90°C, solvent resistant but not suitable for alcohol. Avoid contact with hot water.

Contrast screen - Aluminium, white lacquered, with two black marking lines.

Float - Plastic PA, black

O rings - rubber NBR (Perbunan)

Set screw, hexagon nut, serrated lock washer - Steel ST, zinc-plated, blue passivated.
