Product Description
GN50.2 Retaining Magnet, Disc, Threaded Bush
This retaining magnet, GN 50.2, is a simple, cost effective & long lasting means of securely holding items in place without causing damage.
It is a shielded magnet system. This consists of a steel shell containing a powerful magnet. This steel pot directs the magnetic field lines downward to the contact surface. This causes the magnetic force to be concentrated at the contact surface and therefore increases the strength of the magnet.
This strong adhesive force occurs only on direct contact with the counterpart. The magnet is not suitable for attraction over distance. For the best adhesive force the contact surface should ideally be a thick, smooth and unpainted surface.
It incorporates a threaded bush for fixing in place.
