Clamping and tension levers are used to extend the leverage on a nut or handle, in order to provide greater torque and control. They allow a greater degree of hand tightening than would normally be possible. Handles can be straight or angled, to allow an easier grip and clear any obstructions, and may be finished with a ball knob. The bore may be threaded or plain.

Adjustable hand levers, also known as clamping handles, are a quick and easy to use clamping component. The operator simply lifts the lever, rotates it to the required location and releases.
