Page 942 | 3.1 Indexing, Locking, Blocking with Pins and Ball-Shaped Elements GN 414 Indexing Plungers Steel / Stainless Steel with Safety Lock, Unlocking with Push-Button 3 Type A Without lock nut AK With lock nut Indexing plungers GN 414 with safety lock are used when the inadvertent retraction of the plunger pin is to be prevented. The protruding plunger is first locked and may be unlocked for pulling only by exerting axial pres- sure on the red safety push-button. The safety lock engages in the front end position, i.e. automatically if the plunger pin protrudes, with the locking mechanism housed fully in the operating button and protected from malfunctions.
