The oil level is measured by means of a float with a magnet which makes or breaks a contact (REED switch) when the fluid minimum is reached. The temperature is monitored via a sensor which makes or breaks a con- tact when a temperature of 80 °C is reached. The polyamide body consists of two parts, welded with ultrasound. Oil level indicators GN 650.5 can also be used in pressurised containers.
