PEDROTTI MECCANICA www.pedrotti.it 10 7000F : the material is isotropic, therefore the values are uniform across the plate and do not vary based on the direction of stress. UNI EN-AW 7075 T651 : the values for alloy 7075 are regulated by the UNI EN 485-2 standard. Bear in mind that the material is anisotropic and that the mechanical tests determined by the standard are always performed in the lamination direction; in the cross direction the values can be 10% to 15% lower for low thickness plates. HB hardness is not required according to the UNI EN 485-2 standard; rather, it is shown as a typical value. Both alloys can be treated with “hard black oxide” or gha coating; the latter can, at a thickness of 60 micron, increase the surface hardness to around 55 HRC. Alloys have excellent machinability for chip removal, especially when compared to a common steel such as c40: machining times are cut by 20% to 40%, and tool wear is cut by more than 60%. Excellent polishing capabilities. 350 - 370 310 - 330 120 - 130 120°C 160°C 7000F TECHNICAL AND TECHNOLOGICAL CHARACTERISTICS Load to break Rm (MPa) Yield strenght Rp 0.2 (MPa) Hardness HB Maximum temperature prolonged stress Maximum temperature brief stress 530 495 410 460 390 - 420 300 155 145 120 120°C 120°C 120°C 160°C 160°C 160°C UNI EN-AW 7075 T651 S 30 - 60 mm S 60 - 90 mm S 100 - 120 mm Plates can be provided in sizes on request Aluminium alloy plates
